matt and i were arguing last night about letting bea cry to fall asleep at 1:30 in the morning! :( i don't like it, it feels unnatural just letting her scream to fall asleep... what did you guys do?

We let Brenna cry it out. Give it a few nights and I bet she will start sleeping through the night. It's hard to hear your baby cry though. I was usually awake the entire time praying that she would go back to sleep. I will pray for you guys. Hang in there!

We always let our kids cry it out, too. It's rough at the time, but give it a few nights and you'll be glad you did.
At first I thought you were wondering whether or not YOU should have a cry...I was going to tell you to cry it out, too!
Maybe you and Bea can cry together (but in separate rooms.)

My brother Aaron use to cry and scream at night while shacking the bars of his crib like a very unhappy caged animal!LOL!:) Mom said she cried but just went outside and told herself over and over "It's good for his lungs!" until he fell asleep hanging by his finger tips to the bars!:)LOL!
Sounds like she's a fiesty little Bea!:) Brings new meaning to made as a hornet because she's a little bumble bee!:) (Bea) LOL! Love you! Love Always

cry it out. it's harder on you than her. don't think of it as just leaving her there to cry, think of it as allowing her to work through it on her own so that she knows going to sleep when she's tired is up to her, not up to you.
