almost free

i am thankful for free things.
really, i am.
the problem with free things, and i admit it really isn't a big problem in the grand scheme of things, but the problem is that sometimes free things aren't very pretty. after beatrix grew out of the changing table phase we gave her's away.
thinking we were finished with babies.
but then, we had a surprise and named her penelope and she needed a place to get her dipes changed too. fast forward a month or two and this lovely table came into my possession.
a couple of spray paint cans later....

and voila.
something pretty, for almost free.
