October 1st was the begining of Halloween at my house. Matt was excited to share it with Micah and so he asked me to think of some creative things that the two of them could do together. I bought dollar necklesses at the fabric store that they did the 2nd of October, they made halloween cookies last weekend and then this Saturday we made these "ghosties". I bought some fabric for a dollar a yard, got some styrofoam balls to act as heads, used black buttons for eyes and black pins to hold them on and then we hung them in our front yard tree. Micah had soooo much fun putting the eyes, nose and mouth on the little guys. It reminded me of Charlie Brown and the Great Pumpkin where Charlie cuts his ghost costume out and he has 10-15 holes all over it. Micah put the buttons everywhere, though he was pretty sure that he knew exactly what he was doing. "This is where they go mommy."
Matt also strung orange and purple lights around the base of the tree. Very Spooky! ,but not scary cause "ghosties aren't real".
