Mornings and Conversations

yesterday morning micah and i had a conversation and it went like this....

micah - "mommy i got up at the crocodile today!"

me- (confused) "what?"

micah - "i got up at the c r o c o d i l e today!" (getting frustrated)

me - (still lost) "the crocodile? honey what are you talking about?"

micah - "you told daddy, i got up at the crocodile today."

me - (sudden understanding) "oh! mommy said the crack of dawn. you woke up at the crack of dawn, buddy."

micah - "yeah, mommy, the crocodile."

me - "yes, honey the crocodile." (sigh, why fight it?)
